Emily Olsen

Emily has been a certified paralegal since 2009, bringing more than 17 years of experience to her work in the legal field. Since 2015, she has focused exclusively on Trusts and Estates, working with individuals and families in estate planning, trust administration, probate, and related litigation matters.

Over the years, she has had the opportunity to work with clients through some of life’s most important moments, from planning for the future to navigating the administration of a loved one’s estate. What she enjoys most about her work is getting to know clients and helping make what can sometimes feel like an overwhelming process a little easier.

She completed her undergraduate studies at Saint Mary’s College of California and received her Paralegal Certificate from California State University, East Bay. Her education and years of experience have given her a strong foundation in the legal field, but she has also learned some of her most valuable skills through experiences outside of the legal profession.

Before becoming a paralegal, Emily spent many years working as a bartender. While it may seem like a very different career path, she has found that many of the skills she developed behind the bar have served her well as a paralegal. Bartending taught her how to listen, communicate with all different types of people, and most importantly stay organized while juggling multiple tasks. It also taught her the importance of making people feel welcome and comfortable, something she carries with her when working with clients.

Originally from Oakland, California, Emily now calls Martinez, California, home. She has always loved the Bay Area and the sense of community that comes with living here. Being able to work with people and families in the community is something she truly values.

Outside of the office, Emily enjoys spending time with family and friends, reading, and crafting. She loves having creative projects to work on and enjoys the satisfaction of making something with her own hands.

Emily feels fortunate to have found a career where she can combine her love of working with people with her attention to detail and organization. Every client and every family is different, and she appreciates the opportunity to be a small part of helping them plan for their future and navigate important transitions in their lives.
